From: "CapCom" Subject: It is indeed a secret... Yes, that area I was talking about in ruins area three, that Chozo bits area you get to through the spike-lined shaft, it is indeed a secret world, or at least your ticket to alternate shadow worlds. I took it up to the area that has all the regular Metroids (this time with the Ice Beam) and after I killed one, my Metroid count went down from 01 to 00!! When you kill another one, it goes to 99! I have a pic of 99 metroids, but again, it's from the GB Camera, so it won't look too good. When you kill the queen, your count goes from 9X to 00. I think that if you fall down to the floor below that has the Metroid egg, you can beat the game, but I'm not sure if it'll work just yet...(I'll try it again later). All I know about where this location is, is that it's somewhere up and to the left (like, maybe ten up and five left?) in the Chozo area. There really isn't a floor in some of those areas, so careful you don't fall down! If you can indeed beat the game there, then it'll be possible to win with a time of, say 0:30? Just use the ruins skip to get to the third ruins area, make sure you have Space Jump and Ice Beam, and then open up this trick (I think you have to be moving UP to activate the secret passages...) This way, you can kill the reg. Metroids and plow your way to the room above the egg. Fall down, and you should be able to walk UP to the egg and the hatchling will get out. I wonder what'll happen if you go to the Queen's room...(it'll probably leave you).
